Actually, the criticism that “flipped learning is so 2013”, is itself so 2013. I look in periodically to the published research on flipped learning, and according to my calculations this body of literature is growing at a 65% annual rate — doubling every 18 months — and the elbow of the exponential curve started…right around 2013.
